Auenstein Radsportage is a new
race on the calendar for 2014. The 2.2 rated race offer 40
points for the overall winner down to 1 for 10th. Stage
winners stage 8 points with 5th taking 1. The new two day
races is packed in to a weekend full of racing but has still
attracted the strong Specialized-lululemon squad.

Stage 1 (ITT) 12.8km
A relatively short but very out and bck undulating time trial.
The road starts climbing almost immediatly. The first two
kilometres are uphill before riders tackle 10km of undulating
roads and the final 2km are downhill back to the finish.
Stage 2 110km
The final and only road stage of the race covers 13 laps of an
undulting 9.1km circuit. Riders start climbing immedetly
reaching the top of the climb after around 3km. A long descent
follows before a short sharp rise with about 3km remaining.
After a gradual descent the final 1km is flat. The climb
offers GPM points on 3 laps. Bonus seconds could prove
decisive with 10, 6 and 4 available at the finish as wel as 3,
2 and 1 available 3 sprints during the stage.
