Ok well it has come to that time of the year. The end of the final stage of the final World Tour event of the year. I wrote a few months ago on exactly what Adam Hansen has done this year but it is time for a recap now his season is over. Before even listing it, I can say it is nothing short of amazing.

I have touched on many of these races before in Adam Hansen - 2012 What A Year so I will be brief. The Australian National Championships are among the first races of the year and this is where Adam's season began. Adam then raced the first World Tour event the Tour Down Under. Along the way he rode all 3 Grand Tours, the TTT and Road Race at the World Championships and then wrapped up his season at the final World Tour Event of the year the Tour of Beijing.
According to my calculations Adam raced 106 days and over 16,400km in professional races in 2012 and became only the second Australian to ride all three Grand Tours in a year.
Riding in race after race Adam is always where he needs to be sacrificing himself for his team
leader. Without a doubt his 2012 season fits the description of amazing.
